During The Quill's long history, it has captured moments of Dixie State College's history in its poems, pictures, and short stories. It has helped DSC students learn how to edit and design a publication, and DSC poets to earn a scholarship for their hard work. The covers of The Quill's themselves shows the changing story of Dixie, from bearing the seal of "Dixie College," to eventually, "Dixie State College of Utah;" from proudly displaying the Confederate flag on the cover, to having editors that now wear "Red Storm" sweatshirts; from having hand drawn covers, to being glossy computer designed booklets. The Quill has been, and contained, a lot of things, and just a few of them will be documented here, in The Quill Archives.
